full Marathon Course

Runners will start in the rancho potrero open space area and take the Lupine Trail to the Palomino Trail to the Ranch Overlook Trail into the SMMNRC. Once here, you'll pick up the Satwiwa Loop Trail to little sycamore then "the wall" ~ otherwise known as the fossil trail. from here you'll summit to old boney and take old boney trail to blue canyon trail. once at danielson multi use area, you'll hit the aid station then take two foxes to coyote to ranch center road, down sage to rehydrate & refuel at the aid station. next, head up sage trail across ranch center down the fire road before leaving the aid station for the last time before starting your return to the finish. you'll pickup sin nombre to hidden pond and back to the satwiwa loop via little sycamore. Congratulations ~ you've just completed the hiawatha full marathon!!! this is a multi loop course; no two loops are the same!

**********IMPORTANT*********Within those 8 hours, Marathoners must complete the first 10.5 Miles in 3 Hours. If you reach the Aid Station past the 3 Hour cut-off at 9:30 AM, you will be sent back to the Finish. Marathoners must complete their next loop (+5 Miles) by 11:30 AM (2 Hours from the first cut-off). Marathoners must return back to the Aid station within 5 hours of the race start to continue on course for the final loop. Otherwise you will be sent back to the Finish.

Eat your wheaties!!!

Full Aid Stations will be located at Miles 6.5, 10.5, 15.5, 18, 21 and 26.

Course description

There will be no FULL Aid Stations on course. Water will be available at Mile 4.5. Full Aid will be available at the Start & Finish.
